Service
CompliAI provides cookie consent management, privacy integrations, preference controls, cookie cataloging, evidence logging, data request intake, and related compliance tooling for Shopify merchants.
Shopify account and authorization
A merchant must install the app through Shopify and authorize the app scopes required to operate the service. Merchants are responsible for the security of their Shopify account and for actions taken by users with access to the store.
Merchant responsibility
Merchants are responsible for reviewing banner copy, policy URLs, cookie categories, blocked scripts, plan settings, regional rules, and whether their configuration fits their business and legal obligations.
Not legal advice
CompliAI is a software tool, not a law firm. The app does not provide legal advice, and merchants should consult qualified counsel for their own store, region, and data practices.
Billing and plans
Paid plans are billed through Shopify App Pricing. Feature access is based on the active Shopify plan, trial, or approved owner access. Plan changes, cancellations, refunds, and charge approvals are handled through Shopify unless we state otherwise in writing.
Acceptable use
Merchants may not use the service to violate laws, interfere with the app or Shopify platform, attempt unauthorized access, or misrepresent privacy choices shown to storefront customers.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the app available, secure, and accurate, but privacy laws, browser behavior, Shopify requirements, and third-party scripts can change. We may update app features, pricing, or these terms as the service evolves.
Limitation
To the maximum extent allowed by law, CompliAI and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data arising from use of the service.
Termination
Merchants can stop using the app by uninstalling it from Shopify. We may suspend access for abuse, non-payment, security risk, or violation of these terms.
